Jae Hyun Cho is an undergraduate student with a focus on quantitative legal analysis, specializing in natural language processing and machine learning, alongside a strong research interest in international security. He has worked as a research assistant on projects spanning AI governance, computational social science, and international security studies.
His current research examines how computational methods can be used to assess semantic change in the Supreme Court of Canada and to conduct comparative semantic analysis with the U.S. Supreme Court and the UK Supreme Court. In parallel, he is pursuing research on the security of Canadian sovereignty in the context of a shifting global order.
