Sofia is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto majoring in Political Science, with a double minor in English and Creative Writing. She currently works as a research assistant, focusing on political science pedagogy, disability, and rights-based approaches within higher education. Her academic interests centre on comparative public policy, with a particular emphasis on housing policy. Her current research involves developing a rental licensing policy proposal for the City of Mississauga, examining how municipal policy can address affordability, accessibility, and tenant protections. She is deeply passionate about Canadian politics and policy design, with plans to pursue a Master's in Public Policy. Her goal is to work in a role that produces meaningful impacts for housing policy and communities across Canada.
