
Eli Rose
Graduate Student
Eli is a second-year PhD student in the Political Science Department at the University of Toronto studying Canadian politics and public policy. Eli's research rests at the intersection of race, politics, and political geography where he interrogates the racial, spatial, and material determinants of political engagement and career success, specifically in the context of Black communities in Canada.
Eli holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree with high distinction from the University of Toronto, where he completed a Major Research Paper (MRP) on political career development and a bachelor's thesis on Black political mobility, respectively. Eli has presented his research at the annual Canadian Political Science Association conference.
