Yota is an incoming third-year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Economics (Data Analysis), and International Relations. Her academics interests includes international trades and developmental economics. Yota is exploring methods to measure risks and favouritism in Canadian federal procurement, and the relationship between political donations and government contract awards.

Yota is interested in applying quantitative skills to real-world problems and leveraging data analysis and computational tools to enrich and enhance research. Yota hopes to further develop her technical expertise, particularly in machine learning and AI throughout her academic career.
